Our client is an internationally renowned company offering language, study and cultural exchange programs for students of all ages. They are looking for a Program Manager to recruit and prepare 18-26 year olds in Australia and New Zealand to travel to the USA as Au Pairs.

Reporting to the Regional Director in Sydney your responsibilities include:

• Managing and growing a world-leading Au Pair program
• Supervising two staff members including team and individual goal setting
• Dealing with all team related issues and ensuring a positive team atmosphere.
• Interviewing, hiring and evaluating staff
• Responsibility for the team budget and liaising with finance
• Sales including advertising, attending career fairs, direct mail and school visits
• Reporting sales statistics and activities on a weekly basis
• Customer Service including telephone sales and client servicing
• Working with the team on marketing and publicity activities
• Handling enquiries from potential Au Pairs
• Database management
• Overseeing the processing of Au Pair applications and visa paperwork
• Managing up to 16 field staff across Australia
• Working closely with the team and field staff to provide guidance feedback and support

For success in this role you will need a genuine interest in other people, countries and their cultures. Resolving work with a mature, big-picture approach, you’ll bring youthful energy and fresh ideas to a team passionate about their organisation.

It’s likely you come from a sales background, degree-qualified, with staff management experience.  With an ability to work autonomously to build a successful team, you have sales savvy, drive and a compassion for others.
